Are the casting prices all the same no matter the metal? Or are all metals charged differently? For example Is sterling silver less expensive to cast per piece than gold or platinum? Or is it all charged the same price over metal costs?

I love your content brother, but I’ve been a jeweler for about 2 years now and honestly you should make vids on realistic rules. There’s a lot of jewelers that’s been in the game longer so selling it for double knowing that you have competition is crazy, PLUS JEWELRY IS A TOUGH AND CUT THROAT BUSINESS THIS SHIT IS NOT EASY LOL!!! Luckily I do make a lot of money doing it but there’s A LOT OF SHIT that needs to be covered lol!! Especially the fact that Jen’s you go through 3rd parties for casting etc everybody does not have the same price I REPEAT NO ONE GOES BY THESE RULES. These wholesalers will try to take advantage and you WILL LEARN the hard way. In this jewelry business bro you need money To invest into equipment and learning how to do bench work so you’re not being charged crazy labor. I know wayyyy better now and I’m glad I went through the hard shit but now I own all my own equipment. I’ve came out of pocket alot of money but it’s worth it knowing I do all my own work ’

The CVD/HTHP diamond in china is very very cheap.Single crastyle diamond be like 1 carat 1500RMB(most like 200USD),and Loose Diamonds be like 0.2-0.7usd/one.Even i know where can buy cheap diamond ,but there is no good studio in china, so sad

where are you getting 38$ per gram casting prices at ? the cheapest I found was $55 a gram to cast 14k in NYC and 14k is currently 36$ per gram im getting charged almost 20 more to cast
